AFD and Shunno launch graphic print folio and mobile mini-press

Alliance Francaise de Dhaka (AFD) and “Shunno Art Space” launched Shunno's graphic print folio series, “Apostrophe” and mobile mini-press yesterday at AFD.

Eminent artists Monirul Islam and Professor Mahmudul Haque jointly inaugurated the event. “Apostrophe” has 40 pressure prints, created during Studio Shunno's 2013 graphic workshop project, “Mind Map”. Studio Shunno and Corridor Foundation designed this series of collaborative workshops in 2013 to ensure a convergence of practice and theory.

Nineteen emerging artists participated in the 10-day workshop and produced 116 plates. From the works, only forty plates were selected and curated to be published as portfolios.

The exhibition and print facility is open today.
