After the success of Raj Kumar Hirani film Sanju, Indian actor-producer Diya Mirza has mentioned that she intends to make a biopic on the life of eminent painter Amrita Sher-Gil. In an interview with the Indo Asian News Service (IANS) she said that she is intrigued by a number of real life stories. “If I have to make a biopic, then it would be on Amrita Sher-Gil, because she was an artist. She made her mark globally through her art but she passed away at a young age. She was also fond of children,” she said to IANS.
