Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone exchanged vows in the presence of family and close friends at a resort overlooking Lake Como in Italy. The wedding took place in traditional South Indian style. Before the wedding, the couple exchanged rings following Konkani customs.  As per reports, the wedding location was resplendent in hundreds of white roses as the sun shone bright and beautiful for the newlyweds.

Ranveer and Deepika are expected to return to India on November 18 and make their first public appearance as a married couple at their Bangalore reception, which is scheduled for November 21. Later, the two stars will host a reception on November 28 in Mumbai for friends and colleagues from the film industry.
