PM grants financial assistance to four artistes

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina granted financial assistance amounting to 90 Lakh Taka to four senior artistes yesterday at her official Ganabhaban residence. The artistes are actors Prabir Mitra, Rehana Jolly, actor and dancer Nutan and folk singer Kuddus Boyati. The cheques were handed over to the artistes at 10 am in the morning. Prabir Mitra and Rehana Jolly received 25 lakh each, whereas Nutan and Kuddus Boyati received 20 lakh. The artistes expressed their gratitude towards the PM for the generous gesture.
