'Meenalap' wins at Eurasia International Film Festival

The 14th Eurasia International Film Festival saw Bangladeshi director Subarna Shejuti Tushi take home the 'Grand Prix' award for her short film, Meenalap. The 28 minute story is about the excerpts a hopeful, albeit lonely urban life after a working couple from West Bengal shifts to Pune. The moments before the birth of their first child are specifically highlighted. The director,  who has completed a diploma on Filmmaking and Screenplay, has dedicated the achievement to her friends and team.
