‘Shaap Ludo’, featuring Arifin Shuvoo and Bidya Sinha Mim in the lead roles, hits theatres today. It is directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul. Shuvoo and Mim talk about the film and more, in a candid chat with The Daily Star.

What are your expectations from ‘Shaap Ludo’?

Shuvoo: We started the promotional campaigns for the film a while ago. We hope that the audience appreciates our hard work and come to watch the film in theatres from today.

Mim: Needless to say, we have high expectations from the film. The viewers are the real judges of any film, and we hope that Shaap Ludo receives rave reviews from the audience.

What do you think are the interesting aspects of ‘Shaap Ludo’?

Shuvoo: It is a multi-starrer film, featuring talented actors like Tariq Anam Khan, Salahuddin Lavlu, Zahid Hasan, Shatabdi Wadud and many others, alongside Mim and myself. I also believe that the story of Shaap Ludo is so intense that the audience will not even want to take bathroom breaks during the interval.

Mim: I agree with Shuvoo. It is rare for such big stars to come together in one film. The story of our film is really compelling. It is the complete package of good content and entertainment.

Share your experiences of promoting the film.

Shuvoo: Promoting a film is actually tougher than shooting for it. However, we have given ample time for the promotional activities of Shaap Ludo, and we hope that our hard work pays off.

Mim: Promotional campaigns are really important for a film. It is a way of connecting to the audience. So, while it was tough, we have had a good experience promoting Shaap Ludo.
