Partha Pratim in new French Film

Internationally-famed Bangladeshi mime maestro Partha Pratim Majumder has completed another French film. He recently played a role in the film “Les Têtes de l'emploi” (In English “The heads of Employment”). 

The story of “Les Têtes de l'emploi” revolves around how France lost its hegemony over the countries those were once French colonies.  In the movie starring Elsa Zylberstein and Franck Dubosc, Partha Pratim Majumder played the role of Lakshmi Niwas Mittal, India's steel magnate in reality, who bought Arcelor steel company of France. The movie especially sheds light on the growing dominance of Asian economies in the world.

Apart from the French film, Partha Pratim is working in upcoming Hollywood film “Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets” (2017). The cast of the film includes Ethan Hawke, Cara Delevingne, Dane DeHaan, John Goodman and Rihanna. 

Partha Pratim Majumder has an international presence as a mime artiste, and has been acting in French, American, Canadian, British and Norwegian films for many years. Majumder's discography includes “Lemming”, “One Dollar Curry”, “Doctor Dassin”, “Le Pharmacien de Garde”,  “Les Infidèles”, “Ouvert la Nuit”,  “Janis et John”, “Joker”, “Ouf”, “Cabaret Paradis”, “OSS 117”, “Le livre des morts de Belleville”, “The Hundred Foot Journey”, “L' Entreprise” and more. He has also acted in several TV series and tele-films.

Majumder has received the title “Chevalier De L'ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres” (Knight in the Order of Fine Arts and Humanities) conferred by the Ministry for Cultural Affairs and Communication of France. He also bagged one of the highest civilian awards of Bangladesh Ekushey Padak.
