Two latest animated features at Star Cineplex
Two latest Hollywood animation films “Kung Fu Panda 3” and “Zootopia” have hit screens in Dhaka at the same time. The two films opened at Star Cineplex in the city's Bashundahra City Shopping Mall on Friday.
Released on March 4 in the US, “Zootopia” has already become the biggest opening of the week leaving behind “Deadpool”. Directed by Byron Howard and Rich Moore, the film has been produced by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studio. The film is set in a city of anthropomorphic animals where a rookie bunny cop and a cynical con artist fox must work together to uncover a conspiracy.
On the other hand, in “Kung Fu Panda 3”, Po continues his legendary adventures of awesomeness. In the journey he must face two hugely epic, but different threats: one supernatural and the other a little closer to his home.
Alessandro Carloni and Jennifer Yuh have directed the film jointly from DreamWorks Animation. Stars like Jack Black, Bryan Cranston, Dustin Hoffman, and Angelina Jolie have voiced the characters.
