Bipasha Hayat has won the hearts of the masses with her multitude of talents over the years. She has garnered an extensive fan base with her work in tele-fictions as well as films. Besides acting, she is also known for her skills as a script writer and artist. On the occasion of Father’s Day, Bipasha, daughter of celebrated actor Abul Hayat, talks about the bond that she shares with her father and more.

What does Father’s Day mean to you?

Every day is Father’s Day for me. As children, we should all look after our parents and fulfill our responsibilities towards them every day, rather than just making them feel special on one specific day a year.

How would you describe your relationship with your father?

Baba has never put any pressure on me to do anything. He has always been supportive of whatever I wanted to do in life, be it in academics, acting, writing or painting. I am really fortunate to have someone like him in my life.

What do you admire the most about your father?

I admire the love and respect that my father has for my mother. As a couple, they have really set a great example for all of us in the family.

What are the factors that have inspired you throughout your career?

My father inspires me the most. He has always encouraged me to reach milestones in my career. I am also largely inspired by books, because reading allows me to tap into my creative self.
