Hollywood actress Salma Hayek is an avid animal lover; she has established an animal sanctuary where 30 rescued animals have been sheltered. She has nine dogs -- the last of which she picked up from a street, and named Ochoa after the Mexican (which Hayek is by birth) goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa who performed brilliantly in the last Football World Cup. While shooting in Bulgaria, she saw a street dog and rescued it. To convince his slightly begrudging husband about another rescue, she called him late at night and led on a conversation to confess she did something terrible, and made it sound like she was hinting of having an affair. Despite Hayek's great acting chops, her husband was intuitive enough to immediately realise that the actress has in fact just rescued another dog.
