Bengal Classical Music Festival 2018 postponed to next February

The much anticipated annual Indian classical music extravaganza, Bengal Classical Music Festival has been postponed this year due to logistical difficulties. Director General of Bengal Foundation, Luva Nahid Choudhury, confirmed that the festival will take place early next year, with tentative dates set from February 7, 2019. “Organising this festival requires extensive preparation and keeping foreseen complications in mind, it would be quite a challenge to overcome in such a limited period of time.” said Luva Nahid Choudhury, “However, we look forward to hosting the festival successfully next February.”
