Tribute to Classic lyricists & composers of the 20th century

Star Melodies, an initiative of The Daily Star that promotes Bangla music, will host a musical evening titled, Kotha O Shurer Omor Juti, on celebrated lyricists and composers of the 20th century. Prominent and emerging singers will participate at the event on November 27 at 6 pm.

The event, to be held at The Daily Star –Bengal Arts Precinct of The Daily Star Centre, will feature songs by Md. Rafiqul Alam, Iffat Ara Nargis, Haimanti Rakshit and Samarjit Roy. As a new initiative to involve different institutions across the city, University of Asia Pacific will participate at the event.

Sadya Afreen Mallick, Chief, Culture Initiatives, The Daily Star, will host and coordinate the programme. Invitation passes can be collected from the reception of The Daily Star Centre. Seats are limited.
