Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s ‘Ladies & Gentlemen’ releases tomorrow

Internationally acclaimed director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's debut web series, "Ladies & Gentlemen" will be released in 190 countries, including Bangladesh, India, USA, UK, Canada, and Australia, tomorrow, on Zee5 Global. All eight episodes of the show will be available in Bangladesh at 12 midnight. Viewers in Bangladesh can stream the series for free.

"Ladies & Gentlemen", starred by Tasnia Farin and Maria Nur, narrates the story of every woman who faces discrimination in the workplace. The series portrays the journey of the protagonist as she fights for her rights in her own workplace and in the process, paves the way for every working woman in Bangladesh. The other cast members include Afzal Hossain, Mukit Zakaria, Hasan Masood, Partha Barua, Iresh Zaker, Pavel Areen and Tanvir Hossain among others.

"Since it is episodic, there had to be a craft behind the episodic distribution of events, finding the right ending for each episode, creating an ascending pace of the story towards the end of the series," Farooki said about making his first web show, in an earlier interview with The Daily Star.

The series is produced by Nusrat Imrose Tisha and co-produced by Iresh Zaker and Sardar Saniat Hossain, in association with Good Company.
