"Prem Puran", a short film directed by young filmmaker Zahid Gogon, is set to release tomorrow on the OTT platform Lagvelki. It is inspired by "The Gift of The Magi" by O' Henry, "Raincoat" by Rituparno Ghosh, "Bhanga Chora" by Zahir Raihan and some true stories of jute mill worker leader Shahid Tajul Islam, who demanded justice for workers in our country. The story is set in Dhaka, Pabna, and Kushtia.

The 35-minute film features Manoj Pramanik, Samia Othoi, Arman Parvez Murad, Ashok Bepari, Pankaj Majumder and Wania. The partially crowdfunded project also participated in international festivals, such as Kualalampur International Film Festival, Dadasaheb Falke Film Festival, Mumbai International Short Film festival, Goa Film Festival, Jaipur Film Festival, and International Moving Film Festival, Iran.
