Prize distribution ceremony held

The prize distribution ceremony for the winners of cultural competitions marking the 95th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was held at Town Hall premises on Saturday evening.

The competitions were on painting, song, dance and delivery of “The historic speech of 7th March”.

Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote Mymensingh unit organised the competition participated by student from different educational institutions.

A cultural function was held with local artistes performing dance sequences and rendering patriotic songs. Earlier, a discussion was held.

Former state minister for Health and Family Planning Dr. Captain (Retd) Mujibur Rahman Fakir, MP, was the chief guest.
