Astalift 'Skin Perfection Day 2014' at the Westin

On the 31 May this year, Astalift, a registered trademark of Fujifilm Corporation, organised the 'Skin Perfection Day 2014,' a day-long skin care and weight management event at the Ballroom of The Westin, Dhaka. This was the second time that Astalift was organised such an event in Bangladesh. The event was marked by skin analysis, complementary consultation with Japanese-trained skin experts, product demonstrations, product launches, early bird draws and other attractive giveaways and discounts. Jaime Chan, Regional Trainer of Fujifilm Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., was present on the occasion.
The skin analysis was performed using advanced technology to gauge out the patrons' levels of skin elasticity and moisture. Those who scored low in the elasticity test were recommended to pay attention to premature ageing of their skin. Similarly, a low score on the moisture test indicated dryness of the skin. Many elderly attendees scored a higher level of elasticity than that of their younger companions. This could be explained by increased levels of pollution, food adulteration, and stress in the current lifestyle. A lack of hydration, however, was a common problem among women of all ages and backgrounds.
Jaime Chan was seen actively counseling the event guests and delivering talks on beauty and wellness. An accomplished trainer since 2004, an excellent speaker, and a renowned body therapist, she has extensive experience in the skin-care industry. She has trained professionals in Malaysia and Singapore and has several public seminars, consumer workshops, and corporate events under her belt. The event consisted of two rounds of four seminars with product experience and Q/A sessions: All about Your Skin; Healthy Bones and Joints; Healthy Diet and Lifestyle; and Dieting Made Simple.
Three products were launched at this event: Metabarrier Premium, a weight loss supplement; Glucosamine and Collagen, a supplement for joint pain; and Astalift White, a range of complexion-boosting products with formulations to make melanocytes dormant and to fight dark spots. Astalift offered a 10 per cent discount on all on-spot purchases. In addition, guests were invited to check in on Facebook to the event page and to leave a message. Ten random winners from these guests were presented with skin-care gifts.
