Khaleda slams deals with India
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia last night said the Awami League-led government has “sold the country to India” to stay in power for another five years.
At a programme at her Gulshan office with pro-BNP Supreme Court lawyers late last night, she said, “The present government was not elected by peoples vote. That's why they are planning how to stay in power again. That's why they have signed an agreement with India.”
While talking about the Liberation War, Khaleda said, “We had gone to war not to become subservient to any other country.
“We will not be imprisoned by anyone,” she added.
