The country woke up today to the bright glow of victory. Patriotic fervour gripped the nation as it celebrated its 52nd Victory Day. People of all ages celebrated the occasion by donning the national colours and going to the National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar to pay tribute to the martyrs who made victory over the Pakistan occupation forces in 1971 possible.
