Zim beat Afg to keep ODI series alive

Tarisai Musakanda hit 60 as Zimbabwe kept their five-match ODI series alive with a three-run win over Afghanistan in Harare on Tuesday.

Bowlers Tendai Chatara, Sean Williams and Chris Mpofu all took three wickets as Zimbabwe bowled out the tourists for 126 runs off 29.3 overs having scored 129 from 32.4 overs.

Afghanistan, who lead the series 2-1, collapsed from 107-4, losing six wickets for 19 runs in less than six overs.

Asghar Stanikzai top-scored for the tourists with 31 while Gulbadin Naib took 4-27.

The fourth ODI is on Friday with the last one on Sunday, both at the Harare Sports Club.

Scores in the third ODI between Zimbabwe and Afghanistan on Tuesday:

Zimbabwe 129 all out in 32.4 overs (Tarisai Musakanda 60, Malcolm Waller 36 not out, Gulbadin Naib 4-27) v Afghanistan 126 all out in 29.3 overs (Asghar Stanikzai 31, Samiullah Shenwari 29, Sean Williams 3-15)
