The title has been taken from Iqbal Khandaker's epic book "Biday Ma" (Goodbye Mother). Iqbal has been writing since 2001. In this book fair, 12 of his books are going to be published. In total he has published 53 books.
Besides, he regularly writes for different national dailies. His satirical pieces in the 'fun supplements' of different dailies are particularly popular.
Although this book is written on a rather serious topic, many of his expressions used in this book are quite witty. The melodramatic love-story of the hero and heroine is humorous and entertaining. In the highlights of his book, the author revealed that the story started when a daughter-in-law took her mother-in-law for a medical checkup and told her that the mother would be admitted to a hospital.
After getting admitted, suddenly, the mother discovered that she has been admitted actually to an old-home. Readers will discover many elements and moving characters in the book. However, the book ends on rather a magical note. Although there are a few irregularities in the storyline, the book is worth finishing at one go.
Anik Khan is a poet and journalist.
