ACC sues BAPEX ex-GM, his wife
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today filed a case against the former general manager of Bangladesh Petroleum Exploration and Production Company Ltd (BAPEX) and his wife for allegedly amassing over Tk 1 crore beyond the known source of income.
The ACC Deputy Director Helal uddin Sharif filed the case with Ramna Police Station this afternoon, according to the First Information Report (FIR) of the case.
The couple allegedly amassed the wealth between the tax periods of June 2005 to September 2016, it said.
