Bangladesh will start exporting digital devices within next two years, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, state minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), said today.

About 10 companies have already started producing digital devices and they are getting huge market share, said Palak in the inaugural session of the first ever Digital Device and Innovation Expo.

He said the government has bring down the tax on raw material and machinery equipment in 2016 aiming to a long-term vision to become a digital device exporting from an importing country.

Palak mentioned Samsung, Walton and Symphony’s name and some of them already got a huge market share.
