CID-FBI meeting over BB heist deferred to Sunday
The meeting between police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) and US' Federal Bureau of Investigation over the cyber heist of Bangladesh Bank's account has been deferred to Sunday.
"The meeting that was scheduled for today will be held on Sunday," Abdullahel Baki, special superintendent of CID, told The Daily Star this morning.

Later, in a press briefing, Baki said the CID's investigation team will visit Sri Lanka, Philippines and US to gather more information into the cyber heist on Bangladesh Bank's account.
He added that 4,000 computers are now being scrutinised for information.

The investigation agency earlier seized the central bank's computer server to scrutinise the security of the server networking system.
The investigators will interrogate the present and former BB officials, including Atiur Rahman who resigned on Tuesday as its governor, for the sake of proper investigation, DIG Saiful said yesterday told reporters.

The CID was tasked with the investigation after the central bank on Tuesday filed a case with Motijheel Police Station in connection with the heist.
