The government will make public the probe report on the cyber heist of US$101 million from Bangladesh Bank's account with New York's Federal Reserve Bank.

"Once we get the full report, it will be made public," Finance Minister AMA Muhith told reporters at a programme in Dhaka's Gulshan this afternoon.

Former governor of Bangladesh Bank and head of the investigation committee Md Farasuddin submitted an internal report on the heist to Muhith yesterday evening.

Hackers installed malicious software into the Bangladesh Bank system in January, which helped them gain knowledge of the central bank's working methods before stealing some $101 million.
