Agrani Bank PLC has been honored with the 'Top Ten Remittance Silver Award 2025' at the "Branding Bangladesh World Conference Series 2025" by the non-profit research organisation, the Centre for NRB, for its remittance collections.

Ahsan H Mansur, governor of the Bangladesh Bank, presented the award to Md Anwarul Islam, chief executive officer of the bank, at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Dhaka today, the bank said in a press release.

Md Touhid Hossain, adviser to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the event as the chief guest.

Shekil Chowdhury, chairperson of the Centre for NRB, presided over the ceremony.

Saif Uddin Khaled, a distinguished British-Bangladeshi citizen and speaker of Tower Hamlets, the United Kingdom, along with other officials from various organisations, was also present.
