AB Bank launched an internet banking app, named "AB Direct" and introduced four new products in the market.

Using the new app, AB Bank's customers can now enjoy banking services from anywhere and everywhere.

Alongside that, four new products, AB Ilham, AB Amani, Kotipoti Deposit Scheme (KDS) and AB Shasando, were launched during a programme today.

AB Ilham is an Islamic Shariah-based deposit product with an attractive profit and AB Amani is an Islamic Shariah-based deposit product for female customers with attractive insurance coverage.

AB Shasando is an attractive interest-bearing current account with overdraft facilities for salaried individuals.

The bank's officials said any depositor, depending on their disposable income, can choose a timeline to become a "Kotipoti", the colloquial term for a millionaire, by using the AB Kotipoti Deposit Scheme.

Both individuals and corporate entities can avail of this product.

Syed Mizanur Rahman, the bank's acting managing director and chief executive officer, inaugurated the programme, which was also attended by Md Fazlur Rahman, director, and Reazul Islam, additional managing director, along with other senior executives of the bank.
