BRAC Bank PLC and the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) have signed an agreement under which BRTC employees will enjoy exclusive banking services at the bank.

Md Mahiul Islam, deputy managing director and head of retail banking at the bank, and Md Tazul Islam, an additional secretary and chairman of the BRTC, penned the deal at the latter's office in Dhaka recently, according to a press release.

Under the agreement, BRTC officials will experience a convenient and delightful banking experience, including salary accounts, multi-currency debit cards, credit cards, loan facilities, deposit pension scheme, fixed deposit and various benefits under BRAC Bank's employee banking proposition.

Anupam Saha, director of finance and accounting at the BRTC, Colonel Mohammad Mubarak Hossain Majumdar, director (technical), and SM Kamruzzaman, director (admin), along with their senior management team were present.

Sheikh Mohammad Ashfaque, deputy managing director and head of branch distribution network of the bank, Tunvir Rahman, regional head for North zone, Shaikh Mohammad Imran Quader, regional head for South zone, and AKM Shahadul Islam, head of employee banking, among others, were also present.
