The High Court yesterday allowed e-commerce platform Evaly to appoint any well reputed firm of its choice to carry out an audit of the company.

The company bench of Justice Muhamad Khurshid Alam Sarkar passed the order after hearing an application submitted on behalf of Evaly's board of directors seeking necessary directives.

The same bench earlier asked Evaly board of directors to appoint audit firm KPMG. The board later filed an application seeking a modification as the firm wanted Tk 86 lakh, which it deemed too high.
