The Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchanges rose in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 10 point, or 0.1 per cent, to 6,215 at 12:15 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 334 crore.

Of the securities, 74 advanced, 31 declined and 177 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 21 points, or 0.11 per cent, to 18,323.

Of the issues, 22 rose, 16 retreated, and 33 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.7 crore at 12:15 am.
