DSE, CSE edge up

The prime indices of Dhaka and Chattogram bourses rose marginally in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, added 8 points, or 0.12 per cent, to 6,332 at 11:28 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 189 crore.

Of the securities, 110 advanced, 49 declined and 130 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, rose 11 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 18,695.

Of the issues, 48 rose, 20 retreated, and 34 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1.6 crore at 11:30 am.
