DSE, CSE fall for second day
The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell today, stretching the loss to the second consecutive day.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, lost 16 points, or 0.26 per cent, to 6,264 at 12:15 pm.
Turnover stood at Tk 385 crore.
Of the securities, 39 advanced, 127 declined and 162 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, dipped 31 points, or 0.16 per cent, to 18,488.
Of the issues, 31 rose, 74 retreated, and 49 saw no price movement.
Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 7.7 crore at 12:20 pm.
