DSE, CSE inch down in morning trade

The prime indices of Dhaka and Chattogram stock exchanges fell slightly in the morning trade today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), inched down 1 point, or 0.02 per cent, to 6,211 at 11:10 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 95 crore.

Of the securities, 51 advanced, 43 declined and 141 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, dropped 2 points, or 0.0007 per cent, to 18,349.

Of the issues, 17 rose, 17 retreated, and 26 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 1 crore at 11:15 am.
