DSE dips, CSE edges up
The indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) fell in the morning session today, the first trading day after Eid-ul-Azha.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the premier bourse in Bangladesh, lost 8 points, or 0.13 per cent, to 6,335 at 11:30 am.
Turnover stood at Tk 184 crore.
Of the securities, 59 advanced, 118 declined and 149 remained unchanged.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 1 point, or 0.008 per cent, to 18,703.
Of the issues, 30 rose, 37 retreated, and 44 saw no price movement.
Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 3.9 crore at 11:31 am.
