DSE rises marginally, CSE up

The indices of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) rose marginally today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, added only 1 point, or 0.02 per cent, to 6,335 at 12:02 pm.

Turnover stood at Tk 312 crore.

Of the securities, 79 advanced, 77 declined and 146 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, rose 17 points, or 0.09 per cent, to 18,719.

Of the issues, 32 rose, 45 retreated, and 35 saw no price movement.

Turnover of the port city bourse stood at Tk 4.1 crore at 12:03 pm.
