Stocks on DSE down, up on CSE

Stocks on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) edged down in the morning session today.

The DSEX, the benchmark index of the top bourse in Bangladesh, lost 1.9 points, or 0.03 per cent, to 6,254 at 11:45 am.

Turnover stood at Tk 138 crore.

Of the securities, 55 advanced, 105 declined and 101 remained unchanged.

The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, gained only 11 points, or 0.06 per cent, to 18,474.

Of the issues, 23 rose, 25 retreated, and 30 saw no price movement.
