Palak gets charge as chairman of AIESEC’s advisory board

State minister for ICT Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak got the charge of Chairman of AIESEC’s Advisory Board in Bangladesh through a signing ceremony held yesterday at Dhaka’s BCC Center in Agargaon.

AIESEC is a global non-political, independent, not-for-profit organisation run by students and recent graduates of institutions of higher education, according to a press release.

“I’m truly honored to be a crucial part of AIESEC. Our Government is diligently working for representing Bangladesh as a Digital country and also making it a part of the Global Village,” Palak was quoted as saying in the press release.

“This could only be possible if we engage the country’s young community and create opportunities for them to work closely with our innovative projects. We believe in youth empowerment and they are going to be the frontrunner of the nations,” he added.

AISEC is the world's leading youth leadership development organisation and is focused on providing a platform for youth leadership development, AIESEC offers young people the opportunity to be global citizens, to change the world, and to get experience and skills that matter today.

Palak’s association with AIESEC will surely take the government one step closure towards the Digital future of Bangladesh, the press release read.
