Dutch-Bangla Bank’s services to remain suspended temporarily
Dutch-Bangla Bank PLC has received approval to temporarily suspend certain banking services to facilitate a seamless migration to a new core banking software system.
The bank's core banking services will be unavailable from January 1 to January 5 next year, while agent banking services will be suspended from December 30 this year to January 5 next year.
Bangladesh Bank gave the go-ahead under the authority granted by Section 45 of the Bank Companies Act, 1991, ensuring the bank can focus on completing the migration effectively.
