IMF may approve $681 million on December 11: Bangladesh Bank

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) may approve $681 million in the second instalment of its $4.7-billion loan on December 11, the Bangladesh Bank said today.

After a meeting with a mission of the lender, BB Executive Director and Spokesperson Md Mezbaul Haque said the two sides have reached an agreement.

"We hope the IMF's board meeting on December 11 will approve the second instalment of the loan."
