bKash eases payment for Robi, Airtel customers

Customers can now seamlessly pay for talk-time, internet, and other services on the "My Robi" and "My Airtel" apps without the need for a PIN, by linking their bKash accounts.
The mobile financial service (MFS) provider bKash has also been integrated as a "preferred payment partner" on both the "My Robi" and "My Airtel" platforms, according to a press release.
Furthermore, customers can now purchase their preferred Robi "Easy Plan" and Airtel "My Pack" directly from the bKash app.
In addition, a service has been introduced allowing users to open a bKash account directly from the "My Robi" app.
These innovative features have been designed to enhance convenience, security, and efficiency in customers' digital lifestyles.
By setting bKash as their preferred payment method, customers may authorise payments digitally with a single click, removing the need to input a PIN or OTP for each transaction.
Moreover, through the "My bKash" section of the bKash app, Robi and Airtel users can explore and select tailored offers from Robi's "Easy Plan" and Airtel's "My Pack" options.
Robi users may also now open a bKash account directly via the "My Robi" app.
Within the app's "Service" section, a dedicated icon labelled "bKash Registration" enables customers to initiate the registration process with a single click.
Following the necessary verification and user consent, the registration process will commence. Users must then complete the e-KYC (electronic know your customer) procedure by following the prescribed steps.
