AUW to host Hult Prize Competition 2025 on January 17
The Asian University for Women (AUW) is going to host the Hult Prize 2025 On-Campus Competition on January 17, 2025.
Hult Prize, often called the "Student's Nobel Prize," challenges the participating students to develop innovative, profit-driven solutions to global challenges, with the opportunity to win $1 million in seed funding.
This year's theme, "Unlimited," aligns with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), encouraging participants to think beyond conventional boundaries and craft scalable, sustainable business solutions.
The AUW Hult Prize is led by a team spearheaded by Campus Director Tustee Mazumdar and Co-Campus Director Saymonthi Barua.
Tustee Mazumdar said, "This is not just a competition; we are building change-makers for a transformative world. Together, we will create a future that inspires and empowers."
Reflecting AUW's diversity, participants hail from 17 nations, contributing a rich blend of cultures and perspectives. A record-breaking number of teams registered this year, thanks to the proactive engagement of the organizing team and a 10-day campus outreach campaign.
Preparations include a series of workshops to equip participants with tools and strategies, led by industry experts such as Dr. Paulraj Mosae Selvakumar on global challenges, Jannatul Ferdous Mohona on social enterprise, and MD Fahim Hossain on SDG-aligned ideas.
