Augmedix raises $19 million investment on Series B funding

Augmedix, a US-based startup with a massive operation in Dhaka, has raised a foreign investment of 19 million US dollars as Series B of venture capital funding. The announcement was made this week during a press conference arranged by Augmedix Bangladesh. This round of funding was raised from Redmile Group, McKesson Ventures, DCM Ventures, Wanxiang Healthcare Investments, according to the official. The company will use this fresh funding to accelerate product development, including automation capabilities, and to strategically scale its technology-enabled service across health systems and private clinics nationwide. So far the startup has raised $ 60 million in the first six years of founding, according to the latest announcement made in February 2018.
