Colour me Summer
Summer brings with her a bounty of flavours and colours. Trees and plants bask in the glory of the beating sun while being nourished by generous bouts of rain at the same time. The result is an explosion of colours in the form of fruits and flowers. Mangoes and lychees are the two jewels in summer's crown but they aren't the only ones. There are other bounties which do not satiate the appetite but do appease the eyes. For instance, a tree which appears to be engulfed in flames is actually the famous Krishnachura in full bloom. Then there are others blooming in hues of purple, pink and yellow. Summer means colours for a country famous for its greenery. It also means a harvest that adds much needed refreshment. Summer is here in all her splendour.
