Bangladesh attends CICA forum

After becoming a fulltime member of Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Bangladesh for the first time is attending the annual forum of National Cultural Centres in Kazakhstan.

A three-member delegation from the country led by parliamentarian Fazle Hossain Badsha is attending the three-day long forum "Culture of Peace and Harmony in the CICA Space" along with other CICA states at The Independence Palace in Astana, Kazakhstan. 

The forum aims to promote measures for creating a tolerant environment and public dialogue platforms for intercultural interaction among people of CICA states. The programme, which ends tomorrow, comprises an exhibition of national art, craft and heritage of the member states.
