Bus catches fire at Shahbagh

A bus caught fire in front of Aziz Super Market in the capital’s Shahbagh area today due to technical glitch.

No injured were reported as passengers got down of the bus immediately after the fire originated with a big bang around 12:30pm, Rahman, a local shop owner and also an eye witness, told The Daily Star.

On information, two units of Fire Service and Civil Defence headquarters to the spot and doused the fire after half an hour frantic efforts, witnesses said.
