Car catches fire at Dhanmondi

A private car caught fire due to some mechanical glitches at Dhanmondi in Dhaka this evening.

Bhajan Sarker, an inspector of fire service and civil defence headquarters, told The Daily Star that the accident took place on road No. Dhanmondi 27 around 8:30pm.

On information, two fire fighting units from Mohammadpur fire service station rushed to the spot and doused the fire, he added.

No casualty was reported.
