The throat-slit bodies of a man and his four-year old daughter were recovered from a house in Nimtali Biswa Road area of Chattogram city today.

The deceased were identified as day labourer Md Arif 35, and his daughter Bibi Fatema.

Sukanta Chakrabarti, officer-in-charge of Chattogram Bandar Police Station, said on information, police recovered the bodies from the house named 'Alam Bhaban' around 11:30am and sent those to hospital morgue.

A blood-stained knife was recovered from the spot, he said.

A CID Forensic team will visit the spot, the OC added
