Fire at Khilkhet Bazar
A fire that broke out in Khilkhet Bazar area in Dhaka this evening has been brought under control after around one and a half hours.
The fire fighters team brought the fire under control around 8:00pm. After hours of fanatic effort the team was able to put out the blazes, a duty officer at the fire service headquarters told The Daily Star.
Four units of fire fighters worked at the spot to bring the blaze under control which irrupted around 6:20pm.
Several shops and makeshift structures were burnt and damaged in the fire.
