JSC examinee stabbed dead over seniority-juniority clash
A Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinee in Old Dhaka has died hours after he was stabbed during a clash over seniority and juniority issue.
Deceased Md Hasan, son of Muhammad Ali of Haji Rahim Box Lane, was a student of Islambagh Ideal School in Dhaka.
Hasan engaged in a clash when a local boy named Md Ali called him disrespectfully in front of Chandni Ghat Shishu Hospital just beside his house around 9:30pm, an eye witness Niloy Ahmed Sumon told The Daily Star.
At one stage, Ali, a student of class-VII of another school, allegedly stabbed Hasan and escaped, Niloy said.
Niloy is the one who took Hasan to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) after the incident.
Later Hasan succumbed to his injuries around 5:00am today, Shariful Islam, assistant sub-inspector of DMCH police camp told The Daily Star.
