Mother, 2 children found dead in Habiganj

A mother and her two minor children were found dead at their house in Nabiganj upazila of Habiganj this morning.

The deceased are Rumena Begum, 32, wife of Farid Miah, 40, and their eight-year-old son Musa and six-year-old daughter Muslima, reports our Moulvibazar correspondent quoting police.

Informed by locals, police recovered the bodies from the house at Balbakur village around 8:00am, said Md Liakat Ali, officer-in-charge of Nabiganj Police Station.

Police detained Farid Miah suspecting that he might have killed the trio following a family feud.

The bodies were sent to the Habiganj General Hospital for autopsy, added the police officer.
