100 mounds inflammable chemicals seized from Old Dhaka

A mobile court of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) seized 100 mounds of combustible chemicals from Old Dhaka’s Armanitola area this afternoon.

The mobile court of Rab seized the chemicals conducting raid at four business organisations around 3:00 pm, said Magistrate Sarwoer Alam, who led the drive.

The chemicals were date-expired and stored to be sold, he said.

The court also fined the owners of the four business organisations Tk 11 lakh, the magistrate added.
